Will I abandon my Filofax?
I am guilty. Don't send me to the jail, all my readers- Filofax-lovers! I am trying an electronic calendar, something that I already have in my Samsung Galaxy Note II.
I know people who went from Filofax to an e-calendar and back, and I don't really know why they had switched to Filofax back again?
The obvious advantage of an e-calendar over paper is:
A) not rewriting the same appointments over and over again, and
B) reminders (with sound alarm if you wish) and when you wish to have them.
The advantage of the paper is to see everything at a glance (really? What about seeing the whole month and week st a glance in e-calendar? Probably I could see that my time is reserved, but in one click I could see the appointment's detail also).
So, what I want to know from you, my readers, is what are your experiences with switching paper and electronics? What do you prefer and why?

My week 48/52 in my filofax
There are appointments on the top of the pages. There are other tasks in the middle that don't belong to any category. Probablly the main reason why I use my own form is that i can find any info that I need to find.
For decoration I have used my first washi tape sent me by Rebecca! I love it!! Isn't it cool???

How old is the oldest page in your Filofax?
If you are my subscriber, you probably know that I moved from my lovely A5 Calipso and Malden back to a personal size. Because of this, I had to make my set up all over again. I took my "old" goals, affirmations, yearly planning pages and this has got me thinking:
How many people use their Filofax'es/FranklinCovey's consistently during this year?
How old are the oldest pages that they have?
How many people plan so far in advance that have pages from several years before this year?
Are you one of those people?
My oldest insert is my yearly planning page that I have put in November or December of last year. I'm still using it as I intended to use it.
There are January-December months on the top and things I need to do each month or just once or twice a year etc. On the left. I put this routine in front of the current month and check what I need to get done this month there. No rewriting. Easy and effective. I even have a video about it on my YouTube channel.

Forcing myself to use daily inserts in my Filofax.
I admit that I have never had daily pages in my filofax. No, not like that. I actually had daily pages in my ff, but have hardly ever used them. I bought a bound planner-notebook in the beginning of this year, and hacked it to put into my ff. The pages are wider than my ff, but I liked it this way because of more room to write, and I have never cut them. I used them as my journal pages. But most of them were left blank anyway. I think it is because of my lack of time and thought that there was nothing special that day. How wrong were I!
I have put an effort to use my current day on 1 page! How easy it is to plan my crazy full day now! I use the hours slots to schedule those gazillios of things to do and to figure out how much time each task takes, as well as to compare how much time I THOUGHT it would take. It is important to realize that I think that I am a superwoman and tasks take several minutes instead of half an hour or even more!
When I don't have crazy busy days (while I work full time), there is more room for journalling my thoughts, emotions, ideas, impressions etc. -things that are pivotal for my personal development! I shouldn't miss them! And yes, my days are WORTH being writen down and saved for later!
(I'm secretly telling you that I bought Franklin Covey day on 2 pages inserts for 2014, the Original version. And intent to use them!)

My week 41/52
Check out my instagram photos for the nature's beauty! I had a marvelous time today, just 20 minutes, but very inspiring 20 minutes in a locak parj! It gaves me energy and hope that it would be better, that it would be better, that it HAS to be better!

my week 39/52 and a sneak peak into my new Filofax inserts!
This week we were sick together with my daughter, that's why there are no videos and posts. 5he drawings that you see on the right side are done by my daughter. I'm pro of them! She has given them to me as a present, and I told her that they will be as a reminder in my planner, so I could see them every day.
I forgot that I have a video on this week's decoration! Here it is!
I'm actively working on my new inserts, and week on 2 pages is done!

My week {37/52]☆★♡♥ I'm loving A5 size more and more since switching to Calipso!!
But anyway, have I ever thought that after VERY long wanting and anticipating a PURPLE (that's important! My favorite color!) Malden, I'll love Calipso more???!!! Life is just full of surprises!
The main reason for that is rings! Calipso has smaller rings, hence, less weight. And fit me, who is going everywhere by feet, it IS important! My shoulders are saying me thank you!
Another reason is that I really has took off almost all extra pages! The Calipso has the WO2P until the end of the year, extra 10 or fewer pages for to-do's and tracking my routines.
The third readon is that A5 Malden has a soft cover. It looks good stuffed. Without a lot of inserts, Malden loose shape and the crackels appears on the cover. I don't like it. Since I didn't want to carry stuffed A5 filofax, I moved!
I have not really switched off to an A5 completely because I haven't done my own inserts yet. I carry my personal Franklin Covey around and open it up for my contacts and monthly pages. Yes, I carry TWO binders! :)

My week 36/52 and how I colorcode in my Filofax
My color coding looks like this:
Yellow-my own things
Pink-my daughter
Blue-home tasks
Green-all related to money
Orange-family
Purple-everything else
6 colors is really enough for me. Also I use only 6 to be able to use fewer highlighters later, when I do a weekly review. I move my flags to another week and highlight these things just for archives.
I also published a new YouTube video about decoration my week on 2 pages. YThe video is on my personal filofax which I don't use right now (as you can see). Look it up!
I am also preparing 2 posts to publish for the filofax project, which now called This bug's life filofax project. I will post them here as well! Subscribe! :)
I am working on my own inserts! I am excited about it! Week on two pages is almost done! I can't wait to use it!
I post pictures on my Instagram account almost every day. Check it out!

P.S. I REALLY miss my black MALDEN!!!!!! Can't wait for another one to come to me!!! I called today to the post office twice to check out if it arrived, but it's not yet! :(

My week 35 - Back to my personal Malden?
I have moved form a pocket Malden to a personal one. Not because it didn't work for me but because I felt so sorry for my personal one, that I couldn't bear for it to be without a job! i also moved all my money there and didn't like it, because the pocket in the Malden is on the inside, and the zipper is in the middle of the inside cover - not really helpful to get coins from it! I'd really like to have a pocket on the outside cover! And a big full lenght pocket as a pocket Malden have to stick there my notes! This pocket is really handy! Maybe I should get a Gillio? What do you think?
This week I have received an A5 PURPLE Malden ( a YouTube video) and I have sold my Malden in black. Yes, you've seen it right, I sold it!!! Damn it! I will really miss it! BUT I bought a purple personal Malden, I hope it will be here soon. And I think I will move up to a size -to an A5 size !! I am so ready for that!

my week 《33/52》☆ _ the second week in the pocket Malden
I am still torn between the pocket and the personal Maldens. Also, if you follow me on YouTube , you know, that I have an A5 Calipso that I'd like to try, and I plan to do it!
I have added "to do" pages, "youtube ideas", "to buy", a day on one undated pages, also monthly inserts that I printed from philofaxy blog.
Still I am upset that a pocket Malden couldn't hold bigger page size as a personal Malden! Also the weekend space is squizzed so much that I can't stand it, and I just took these undated pages "a day on one page" and have written there all my chores for this particular day.
What is your pocket size experience?

Duplex Filofax???? I'd LOVE to have one!

Even without any further explanation, what do you think of it? Will you find it useful? Should filofax make the binder again (it was available in the 70-s)?

Pros:
- You could see your notes at a glance
- for me it would be useful to plan out the week, and the day. For instance, to have the month view on the left side, and the week view on the right, and rewrite my appointments. Then, without moving the pages from the right rings to the left, from my week view on the right, to plan out my days on the left in the depth, with my to-do's.
- Another use would be to take notes at the same time as viewing my weekly schedule.
- It is doable with an Arc by Staples version!! Yes!! I wish I had an access to it right now! Staples don't ship internationally. I'd love to have someone from UK/US/european country that has Staples to help me to get it!
Cons:
- the weight of double set of rings must be huge!
- it's not available to buy easily, I doubt to find it right now even on eBay!

My week 32/52-pocket Malden filofax!!!
P.S. The main thing that I enjoy in my pocket Malden is the big picket on the back of the binder. It is very handy to shove there notes on the go, when you don't have time and patience to rewrite them!
P.P.S. Did you notice my new tabs? I bought a new stamps set abd made them outside while my daughter was playing in a playground. Love ut! I post a picture on my Instagram account about it.
P.P.P.S. I added two flyleaves in the front and back, and seversl sheets of undated day on a page and decorated lined pages. The day on a page and decorated lined pages I hacked from two notebooks that I showed in my "Unboxing a mystery filofax" video. I didn't like using the decorated pages because the pictures on them distract me and I prefer to have free rather than cluttered space!
One thing that disappointed me was that I couldn't use wider pages (these notebook pages are wider than the standard ff pages). I thought that the pocket Malden is the same as the personal Malden, in which I could use Franklin Covey pages, that are about 1 cm wider than ff personal size pages! No luck here!
P.P.P.P.S. I intended to use it as my wallet, and it is working as a wallet great! A lot of pockets, one for a change, and swveral for creadit cards, and cash. I wanted to make a several tio loading envelops to divide my cash into several portions for different purposes, but there is no need for that either! But I will make the envelops anyway, just to try out the system!
P.P.P.P.PS I have read a lot of posts and watched a lot of videos on a pocket filofax set up, but anyway, there is not that much information about it. Have you ever tried a pocket filofax or any kind of binder?

A request to Filofax company to make a modern sophisticated Filofax with 30 mm rings
Did you know tjat there is NO mosern filofaxes with 30 mm rinfs that are not zipped?! I'm amazed!
There are only Guilford and Cuban with the ripped on the spine. They look like a brick.
And there are also Cavendish and sime others that are 20 years or so old and as Alan Marshall write to me on Philofaxy Facebook page, "good luck finding them" because even IF you find them on ebsy, they would cost a fortune!
I love my Malden, but even stuffed to a full capacity, it can't hold everything that I need! And I even admit that I have a perfect Franlin Covey binder with lerfect 30 mm rings, but it's not... a filofax! Not as sophistixated as Malden!
So I decided to send a request to Filofax cimpany to MAKE a sophisticated modern filifax with 30 mm rings in different colors for men and women. I need your support on that! Please leave a comment below about what is your dream filodax would look like!
